Disciplinary Prosecutor Confirms Eight Resignations and Files Three Disciplinary Indictments with the HJPCs
The Disciplinary Prosecutor has completed investigatingallegations against 15 judges and prosecutors temporarily suspended by the High Representative in May and July 2002. The judges and prosecutors were temporarily suspended following allegations of misconduct constituting disciplinary offences under the Law on HJPC.

New International Member of HJPCs joins the Councils
The new international member Judge Jorge Ribeiro, a Portuguese Civil and Criminal Law Judge, has joined today to the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Councils of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), the Federation of BiH (FBiH) and the Republika Srpska (RS).

Suspension of Judge
The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Republika Srpska has decided to suspendJudge Lidija Borkovic from her position of a judge of the Basic Court in Bjeljina.

Vacancies for the RS Constitutional Court and for the RS Component for the BiH Constitutional Court Re-announced
Due to a lack of enough appropriate candidates to fill the "vital interest panel" for the Republika Srpska Constitutional Court (Article 116 of the Republika Srpska Constitution) the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Republika Srpska has decided to reissue the vacancy announcement for that Court.

HJPCs Decided on the Numbers of Judges and Prosecutors on the Higher Tier Level
The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Councils have made decisions on the number of judges and prosecutors for the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the FBiH Supreme Court, the FBiH Prosecutor’s Office, the RS Supreme Court and the Office of the RS Prosecutor.
