The Nomination Panels of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Councils (HJPCs) of BiH, Federation BiH and Republika Srpska will, this week, hold the first interviews for the for judges and prosecutors who will be appointed to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the FBiH Supreme Court, the FBiH Prosecutor’s Office, the RS Constitutional Court, the RS Supreme Court and the Office of the RS Prosecutor.
The HJPCs have established eight Nomination Panels; each of which will conduct interviews for appointment to these seven different institutions. The interviews will be completed in the next few weeks.
The HJPCs goal is to complete all appointments to this higher judicial tier by the end of December this year. Interviews with RS candidates for appointment to the BiH Constitutional Court will start shortly and will be completed in the few following weeks. Once the interviewing process is finished, the HJPCs will make their proposals to the Republika Srpska National Assembly (RSNA).
