The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Republika Srpska has decided to suspendJudge Lidija Borkovic from her position of a judge of the Basic Court in Bjeljina.
The president of the Bjeljina Basic Court submitted a request to the Council to suspend Lidija Borkovic from the position of a judge of the Basic Court in Bjeljina on the grounds that a criminal investigation has been initiated against her before the Basic Court in Zvornik. The basic public prosecutor in Bjeljina requested the investigation on October 23, 2002.
The suspension of Judge Lidija Borkovic will not last longer than six months from the suspension date unless a proceedings for her dismissal, disciplinary or criminal proceeding is initiated.
