Banja Luka, 10 March 1999 Ambassador Miguel Arias called on the Mayor of Derventa today to express his profound concern over a violent attack on the Derventa office of the OHR during the weekend. An anti-personnel grenade was thrown into the office through a window.

The OHR would wish to underline what the High Representative said at his press conference yesterday by stressing the following points: Firstly, all parties agreed at Dayton that Brcko would be subject to independent arbitration. They agreed that the arbitration award would be final and binding, and to implement it without delay.

Visoki predstavnik Carlos Westendorp je danas smijenio Nikolu Poplašena sa dužnosti predsjednika Republike Srpske. Ova odluka stupa na snagu odmah.

Visoki predstavnik Carlos Westendorp je uputio pismo predsjedniku RS-a Nikoli Poplašenu u kojem je izrazio svoje razočaranje njegovom odlukom da će započeti postupak smjene premijera Vlade Milorada Dodika.

Visoki predstavnik je zaprepašten izjavom objavljenom u četvrtak u ime Predsjedništva SDS-a, a u svezi sa napadom na zastupnika u Narodnoj skupštini Republike Srpske u srijedu. Visoki predstavnik očekuje da Predsjedništvo SDS-a, čiji je predsjednik Dragan Kalinić, izda nedvosmislenu ispravku te izjave.
