20 May 1998, 19:30 HR Westendorp passed the Law on BiH Coat of Arms. HR chose the proposal that won majority of votes in the BiH Parliament. Westendorp thus used authority given to him by Annex 10 of DPA and by the Bonn conference. 1:30 The World Bank approved two credits for BiH.

18 May 1998, 19:30 Sarajevo - Deputies of both BiH Assembly Houses did not accept any of the three proposals for an official BiH Coat of Arms at their sessions today. Some 18 deputies voted for a design which is similar to the BiH flag, but they did not represent the required one third of the deputies from each entity.
