Two weeks before Croatia is set to join the EU, the High Representative Valentin Inzko calls upon authorities and politicians in BiH to urgently start resolving the basic problems faced by citizens of our country.

I don't want to create an impression that the international community has made no mistakes in BiH, that it does not and cannot make any mistakes.

As far as the broader political situation in the FBiH goes I said, as I have done earlier, that parties have a clear and legitimate right to pursue the reshuffling of the government, but in doing so they must respect the relevant constitutional and legal procedures.

The High Representative Valentin Inzko, commenting on the arrest of FBiH President Živko Budimir, warns that it is important for everyone to avoid speculation while the investigative process is ongoing, along with any prognoses on the outcome of the political situation.

We have made our position clear to all parties involved in the FBiH disputes and I expect the FBiH President and vice-presidents, the Government and the Parliament to act in line with the Constitution and in the public’s interest.

A solution can be found only if there is good will and flexibility on all sides and that is what we need to see.

Principal Deputy High Representative Roderick Moore says that the solution for the FBiH is dialogue between political parties and with the FBiH President Živko Budimir.

In an interview for Slobodna Bosna, the High Representative explained that the OHR's report was based on facts about the situation in BiH, categorically denied any pressure on judges of the BiH Constitutional Court coming from him or his associates, and announced which topics will dominate the next PIC session.
