Weather in BiH

In the areas of Sarajevo, Una-Sana, Hercegovina-Neretva and Bosna-Podrinje cantons, electricity supplying has been stable. On the other hand, there have been cuts in the electricity supply in Tuzla, Zenica-Doboj and Srednja Bosna cantons. The biggest problem crews have been faced with was providing the access to the damaged parts of the electricity supply system. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Damir Kaletovic.

Although the RS “Elektroprivreda” crews have been on the ground trying to repair damaged electricity supply system in the RS, it is still not known when the entire RS will start receiving normal electricity supplies. Although, the state of emergency was proclaimed in Pale and Srpsko Sarajevo, the situation has gradually normalized after three days of severe weather conditions. The water level of the Neretva river is under the control. Although the water level is above the normal, the danger of flood is no longer present. Currently, a great damaged caused by floods last week is being estimated. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Sinisa Jokic.

The biggest part of the Canton has been still without electricity supply because of great damage caused by the storm. “Elektroprivreda” announced that the area would get electricity soon. Portugal handed over Macao to China after 442 years of its colonial rule. The area is now under the special management, monitored by China. Two thousand and five hundred honoured guests attended the special ceremony. The report was produced by OBN journalist, Gordana Frimel.

According to a source of the SENSE Agency, the dismissal was caused by bad results achieved in the ex-Yugoslavia countries, especially in Serbia. Approximately 107 million citizens voted on the parliamentary elections in Russia for 450 representatives in the Lower House of the Russian Parliament, Duma. Sarajevo

Today in Sarajevo, the association of independent intellectuals “Circle 99” discussed the relation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Croatia after the death of the Croatian President, Franjo Tudjman. Although culture and economic cooperation between two countries exists, the political and military cooperation has been very poor. Members of the Association said that the politics of the Republic of Croatia has to be changed. If HDZ win on the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Croatia, this process will be prolonged in comparison to the case if opposition parties win. Petrovo

Businessmen from Gracanica in the BiH Federation and the Petrovo Municipality in the RS, signed the first cross-entity agreement on economic and technical cooperation.
