The High Representative, Christian Schwarz-Schilling, on Monday renewed the mandate of Toby Robinson as Liquidator of Privredna Bank a.d Srpsko Sarajevo (PBSS). This renewal was requested by the Director of the RS Banking Agency, Slavica Injac.

Yesterday’s general election was a landmark event for Bosnia and Herzegovina that took place in a dignified and orderly manner. This is a tribute to the efforts and abilities of the election’s organisers who, for the first time since the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, were fully responsible for the poll. They did an excellent job.

The High Representative, Christian Schwarz-Schilling, has extended the temporary prohibition on the disposal of state property, originally enacted on 18 March 2005, until 31 May 2007, by amending the BiH, Federation and RS Laws on Temporary Prohibition of the Disposal of State Property.

This Sunday’s general election is especially significant because those who are elected will have full responsibility for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s future, the High Representative and EU Special Representative, Christian Schwarz-Schilling, said in a television address to citizens broadcast on Friday evening.
