OHR Comment on Mostar Attack

The Office of the High Representative (OHR) condemns the attack on the Jasenica mosque in Mostar as it condemns all violence and provocative acts, including the desecration of the Catholic cemetery in the village of Gnojnice during the weekend. The OHR urges religious and political leaders to use their influence to appeal for calm and for media to report these acts responsibly to ensure that they do not degenerate into a tit-for-tat cycle of violence. And the OHR appeals to citizens to assist the police in its investigation to identify the perpetrators.
