Only two weeks after adoption of the police reform legislation, the EU decided BiH has made adequate progress to sign the SAA as soon as possible and has called on the European Commission to launch a visa dialogue with BiH.”
The EU has been waiting for BiH to complete this for 3 years. “Now the time before the signing ceremony must be used to prepare for implementation of this international, legally binding agreement ,” said the High Representative and EU Special Representative, Miroslav Lajčák. “I hope that the current impatience to sign the SAA will be translated into actions to quickly complete the reforms that will lead to full EU membership.“
