The RS President, Biljana Plavsic, talked today in Banja Luka with a delegation of the Association of independent businessmen of the RS about the development of small enterprises and their role in a process of transition.

The RS NA Speaker, Petar Djokic, put into operation a new production line in the factory “Unimet” in Serb Gorazde today. A higher quality processing of steel wire is a technological capability of the new production section.

During his working visit to Gradiska today, the RS Prime Minister, Milorad Dodik, attended the ceremony of starting the works on the construction of the Banja Luka – Gradiska road. Afterwards, Dodik visited the factory of the wood industry “Podgradci”, kindergarten “Lepa Radic” and the premises of the hospital in Gradiska which have been reconstructed with the USAID assistance.

The USAID allowed $ 65 million for commercial credits to the private sector in B&H. The amendment to the Agreement on financial assistance to the B&H reconstruction was signed in Sarajevo today by the B&H CoM co-chairmen, Boro Bosic and Haris Silajdzic, the US Ambassador to B&H, Richard Kauzlarich and the Head of the USAID Mission to B&H, Craig Buck.

At the session of the B&H CoM held in Sarajevo today, the CoM members discussed various issues. However, the greatest attention was paid to the issue of establishing the Department of the B&H Civil Aviation. A special session of the B&H CoM is scheduled for Monday.
