“We informed the members of the Presidency about what they are expected to do. There are 18 unresolved questions relating to the functioning of the common institutions. We received a concrete promise that the four laws will be agreed upon before the conference in Bonn – law on travel documents, law on the Council of Ministers, law on citizenship and law on common currency.”

Deputy High Representative, Hans Schumacher, stated in Lukavica today that he had informed the Council of Ministers that participants of Peace Implementation Council meeting decided in Paris yesterday to undertake decisive action in BiH and that there was no alternative to the peace accords from Dayton. If Parliament does not reach agreement on the laws on passports, citizenship, common currency and Council of Ministers, then the OHR will see that the laws are put in force before the ministerial meeting in Bonn on Dec. 8 and 9, 1997.
