News Summary

Representatives of IC in Mostar indicate slow return in areas where HDZ is ruling party

IC representatives in Mostar indicated low return statistics in those towns of HN Canton where the HDZ BiH is the ruling party, Sarajevo media reports. The OSCE stated that, in West Mostar, Capljina, Stolac and Prozor, only 7% of the 13,500 claims submitted for property return have been realized.

In West Mostar, where the Croat administration is functioning, 6,300 claims have been filed and only 2% have been sent to procedure. “These omissions come from the policy of obstruction conducted by HDZ BiH leaders” stated OHR spokesperson Avis Benes.
