Sarajevo
The BiH Federation Prime Minister, Edhem Bicakcic, said that there were enough proofs for raising criminal charges against the individuals suspected for killing of the BiH Vice Minister of Internal Affairs, Jozo Leutar. The BiH Minister of Internal Affairs, Mehmed Zilic, did not want to give any comments and said that the BiH Federation Prosecutor would explain the details in the several few days. OHR
The High Representative of the International Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Wolfgang Petritsch, imposed the Law on the State Border Service today. This was announced by the OHR Spokesman, James Fergusson, at the press conference in Sarajevo today. In an interview for OBN, the High Representative said that he was utterly dissatisfied with the unwillingness of the Serb delegates in the BiH Parliament to vote for the Law on the State Border Service. He reminded that the State Border Service would make profit for the country and encourage the economy. The Border Service will help battle smuggling, crime and illegal immigration. Guest of TV INFO
The guest of TV INFO and the presenters, Danijela Bozic and Mujo Delibegovic, was the US Ambassador in BiH, H.E. Thomas Miller. The Ambassador was asked to comment the investigation of the BiH Vice Minister of Internal Affairs, Jozo Leutar, which occurred last year, especially having in mind that FBI participated in the investigation. The Ambassador Miller said that they were very interested in finding perpetrators of that terrorist act. The Ambassador also reiterated his position on the Law on the State Border Service and the importance to enact this law. Also, the Ambassador was asked to comment the recent canceling of the USAID support to the process of privatisation in the BiH Federation. The Ambassador Miller said that he made the decision to suspend the US efforts regarding the privatisation process in the BiH Federation after months and months of failed tries to help.
This was followed by a report on the three day visit of the special envoys of the European Council to Bosnia and Herzegovina. They stressed that the Parliament which functions was a very important element for a democratic Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Representative of the European Council in BiH, Peter Iiskola, said that obviously they were not satisfy if the High Representative had to make important decisions such as the Law on the State Border Service. An agreement between the BiH Federation and the RS on the establishment of the joint road corporation and the transformation of the Air Bosnia to the BiH Federation Company called Air BiH were adopted today. Zagreb

The HDZ party candidate for the forthcoming presidential elections in Croatia, Mate Granic, resigned all his positions in the party except being a member. Also he said if he becomes the President of Croatia, he will return even his membership card because of the current situation in the party. Brcko
The Multi-ethnic Apartment Commission in Brcko processed 160 out of 190 claims about the illegal using of apartments whose dwellers wait eviction orders. All those who were allowed to return to their flats would have to return to the apartments within a six month period. The report was produced by OBN reporter from the town, Slobodanka Radojkovic.
Lukavica (Sarajevo)
A piece on the opening of the Office of the Association for Return to Sarajevo. Sarajevo
Five hundred students from the Tuzla and Una-Sana cantons stopped receiving funds for food and accommodation costs in the Sarajevo dormitory “Bjelave”.
