Introduction

Government representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Yugoslavia (FRY), members of the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council, as well as interested countries and international agencies met in Banja Luka on 28 April 1998, to address the process of return in and between Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia and from Yugoslavia. The prime objective of the Conference was to promote opportunities for the voluntary return of refugees and displaced persons and practical and political measures required by these governments to facilitate this were discussed.
