OHR i OSCE strogo osuđuju jučerašnji incident u Zvorniku

Šef Misije OSCE Robert Barry i Visoki Predstavnik Carlos Westendorps strogo osuđuju jučerašnji incident u Zvorniku kada je bošnjački potpredsjednik Izvršnog odbora općine Izet Nakićević verbalno i fizički napadnut u svom uredu, što je rezultiralo time da je on morao napustiti grad.

Specijalna istraga u Bugojnu

Viši zamjenik Visokog predstavnika, gospodin Hanns Schumacher, je u pratnji tri federalna Ombudsmena u četvrtak posjetio Bugojno, gdje se susreo sa načelnikom općine, gospodinom Dževadom Mlaćom, i predsjednikom Općinskog vijeća Bugojno, gospodinom Ivom Mršom.

OHR encourages people to file claims to repossess apartments

Sarajevo, 5 August 1998 The new property and housing laws in the Federation of BiH put in place a process for reclaiming socially-owned apartments which were declared abandoned during the war. You should file your claim to repossess with the housing authority in the Federation municipality where the apartment is located.

The Supervisor was deeply disturbed to learn of the violent death of Amir Karic in Brcko on the night of 26 July, and sends his sincere condolences to the Karic family. The Supervisor asks all political parties and media to await the results of the police investigation and to refrain from making statements that may raise community tensions.
