In an interview for Dnevni list, the High Representative Valentin Inzko talked about the current situation in the country, and warned that the ongoing crisis must be overcome as soon as possible, where compromise and dialogue are the only solutions.

The only way forward is dialogue and compromise. Certainly there are some very concerning trends currently in BiH.

At the beginning of the election campaign Valentin Inzko, the High Representative, called upon all political parties and leaders to refrain from hate speech and inflammatory rhetoric.

First of all, let me say that I welcome the fact that BiH has remained consistent in calling for an end to the ongoing violence in Syria.

We have analyzed the parliament’s rulebook and believe that it sufficiently clearly defines roles of the parliament’s key bodies – including the Collegium, Speaker, and Deputy Speakers – in convening sessions of the parliament.

When we speak about Srebrenica, there is one thing that must be mentioned first of all: all of us – the people in BiH and the international community – have a shared responsibility to make sure that the crimes committed there never happen again and that the victims of Srebrenica are not forgotten.
