High Representative and EU Special Representative Valentin Inzko visited Srebrenica to support the children and young people who, after five days of rehearsals, performed a circus gala show on 5 September 2009 in that town. “Children and young people are the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina , and am very pleased to have been able to meet with a group of them today. Friendship among children and team work are the best basis for sustainable return and long-term reconciliation”, Inzko said.
The circus camp in Srebrenica was organized by Austrian humanitarian organisation “Bauren helfen Bauern” (Farmers Help Farmers) with the aim of building a multiethnic sense of community and team work among children.
