Remarks by High Representative Valentin Inzko to the United Nations Security Council

When I addressed the Council six months ago we were on the eve of the 20th Anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreement. This was an opportunity to mark how far Bosnia and Herzegovina has come, but also to recognize that there is much more work needed to ensure lasting stability and a better future for the people of this beautiful country.

Remarks by PDHR Bruce G. Berton at the conference “BiH: 20 years after Dayton”

When we talk about foreign influences in the country, the most relevant place to start is by talking about the enormous diplomatic, military and financial investment, which the international community has made since 1995 in order to maintain the peace, build the country’s institutions and reintegrate and reconcile its peoples.
