Property Law Implementation Rate doubled in 2001
The agencies engaged in the Property Law Implementation Plan (PLIP) welcome the sustained progress in property law implementation during 2001. High Representative imposes Entity laws supporting the reconstruction of National Monuments
The High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, yesterday issued two Decisions that will support and simplify the reconstruction of National Monuments identified by the "Commission to Preserve National Monuments," which has been set up in accordance with Annex 8 of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

The High Representative appeals for urgent passage of State-level De-mining Legislation
The High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, expects the State-level Law on De-mining to be placed on the agenda for a second reading at the next session of the BiH House of Representatives, planned for the 12th of this month, and it's urgent adoption thereafter.

High Representative visits Mostar and holds fourth Civic Forum
During his visit to Mostar, the High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, on Friday held the fourth Civic Forum in this city, discussing issues of social importance with eleven representatives of civic society in Herzegovina. He also paid a visit to the Jewish Community of Mostar, met with students from both universities, and visited Ljubuski.

Paul Martin designated new head of OHR Banja Luka
Today, the High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, has designated Canadian diplomat Paul Martin to succeed Georges Bordet as Deputy High Representative and Head of OHR Banja Luka. Mr Martin, who is already in Bosnia and Herzegovina to familiarise himself further with current issues, will take over from Mr Bordet on 19 February.
