Longer Hours for Arizona Market

The Supervisor of Brcko, Henry L. Clarke, today issued the Supervisory Order on Arizona Market as an amendment to the Supervisory Order on Arizona Market dated 16 November 2000.

The Amendment increases the working hours for most business activities in Arizona Market (between 05:00 and 22:00 hours), and revokes all gambling licenses issued to business operating in the area of Arizona Market. In addition to this, the Brcko District Government retains the authority to impose shorter working hours to specific businesses or categories of business as may be required for public health and safety or other restrictions in the public interest in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

“Italproject”, the contractor for constructing the new Arizona Market, will be able to execute its contract 24 hours per day.

Gambling will not be permitted in Arizona Market until a new law on gambling is enacted by the District Assembly.
