On Saturday, 26th June 1999, Brcko Supervisor Robert W. Farrand, issued a Supplementary Order on privatization, following his previous order of December 4, 1997.
The Supplementary Order extends the prohibition against privatization without previous approval by the Supervisor to the Federation part of the Brcko pre-war Opstina. This prohibition already applied to the RS part of the Brcko pre-war Opstina as a result of the Order of December 4, 1997.
The Supplementary Order also declares null and void all transactions that may have occurred in violation of either, the December 1997 Order or the current Order.
The Supplementary Order has been sent today, Tuesday, 29th June 1999, to the relevant authorities in the Republika Srpska Government, the Federation Government, and the Municipalities of Brcko, Rahic-Brcko and Ravne-Brcko. Please, find attached the text of the Supplementary Order.
