Supervisor condemns attack on Roman Catholic Church in Brcko

An unknown person threw a tear gas canister at the front door of the Brcko Catholic Church during the Saturday afternoon mass.

Around 200 people who were in the church were evacuated from the building. No one was physically injured. The service resumed approximately 90 minutes later.

The Supervisor for Brcko condemns this attack and religious discrimination of any kind. The right to practice religion freely is enshrined in Annex 6, Article 1 of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
