Reconstructing of Houses in the Aarea of Ulice and Dizdarusa

ULICE, 1pm, Wednesday 17th June

Mercy Corps Europe/ Scottish European Aid, funded by the European Union, are reconstructing 300 houses in the area of Ulice. On Wednesday at 1pm, there will be the tripartite signing – by the RS Municipality of Brcko, Mercy Corps Europe/Scottish European Aid and the project beneficiaries – for the EU-funded reconstruction of these houses. This project is part of the 1998 Return Programme of the European Commission for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At 1pm press are invited to join the RS Municipality of Brcko, Mercy Corps Europe/Scottish European Aid, Supervisor for Brcko, Robert W. Farrand and beneficiaries of the project, at the signing ceremony. There will be a photo opportunity and brief remarks by the participants. This will take place at the IPTF station (container) in Ulice.

DIZDARUSA, 1pm, Wednesday 17th June

At 2.15pm in Dizdarusa, there will be an initial delivery of heifers to local residents, which are being provided as part of the European Commission livestock regeneration programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Representatives of the Republika Srpska Municipality of Brcko, the Republika Srpska Ministry of Agriculture, the Republika Srpska Veterinarian Services, and the Supervisor for Brcko, will join European Commission programme coordinator Gennaro Volpe in giving brief remarks on the occasion.
