Today the PIC Steering Board, at the level of political directors, welcomed and endorsed the draft election law for Bosnia and Herzegovina that was drafted under the auspices of national experts, the OHR and the OSCE.
The draft law will be presented to Members of the Presidency, the Co-Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the Council of Ministers, and the BiH Parliamentary Assembly tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow afternoon, Thursday 21 October at 1415 at the CIPIC, the draft law will be released to members of the press by the High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, together with the OSCE’s Ambassador Robert Barry, the Chairman of the Election Law Working Group Francois Froment-Meurice, and the seven national members of the Election Law Working Group. All will be available to the press for a brief question and answer session.
