Principal Deputy High Representative Louis Crishock attended the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo Change of Command Ceremony during which U.S. Army Brigadier General Matthew Valas transferred authority to U.S. Army Brigadier General James Fowler.
“I offer General James Fowler a hearty welcome to Bosnia and Herzegovina and wish General Matthew Valas the best of luck in his next assignment. This ceremony confirmed NATO’s enduring commitment to partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s security structures, in the interest of maintaining peace, stability, and security in the country,” said PDHR Crishock.
