The single BiH Driving License conforms to the latest European standards for quality and appearance. On 30 October 2002, the European Commission Directorate-General for Energy and Transport wrote that "the Commission wishes to indicate that the [BiH Driving License] is in conformity with the Council Directive 96/47/EC."

New BiH Common License Plate
Common Vehicle Registration Document - Specimen From 1 June 1998 all vehicles from Bosnia and Herzegovina must have the new common license plate and corresponding common vehicle registration document to cross international borders.
