President of the RS, Biljana Plavsic, met with the Supervisor for Brcko, Robert Farrand, today in Banja Luka. The meeting centred on the situation in Brcko, and Farrand said that President Plavsic was misinformed about the incident that occurred during the registration and marking of Muslim houses in the city. Farrand stated that those houses were not occupied by Serbs, but were destroyed houses.

Speaker of the RS NA, Petar Djokic, and Supervisor Farrand discussed the situation in Brcko at their meeting today. The Speaker also said that the regular session of the RS NA is delayed due to technical reasons, but announced an extraordinary session that will be held at the request of the group of SDS representatives.

Remains of the late Dr. Milan Kovacevic were brought to Prijedor today. The FRY Minister of Justice addressed a letter to Gabriela Kirk McDonald, President of the ICTY, stating that every court is responsible for the fate of imprisoned persons until passing of sentence that goes into effect.

Today in Trebinje, the RS PM, Milorad Dodik, the US Ambassador to BiH, Richard Kauzlarich, and the Director of the USAID Mission, Craig Buck, attended the signing of a protocol on implementation of a program for pre-school training in 21 municipalities of the Eastern RS, financed by the ODA and implemented by the NGO “Save the Children”.

Second continuation of the 11th session of the BL Municipal Assembly is scheduled for tomorrow. The SPRS Club of Representatives issued a press release, stating that the issue of premises for holding the session should be solved by the municipal administration and should not be politicised.

Director of the SDS Main Office, Milovan Bjelica, was released today from the Bijeljina prison. Bjelica stated that he was told in Bijeljina that he was not arrested, but taken in for an informative conversation.
