The RS President left for Germany today. She will visit the Serb businessmen in Germany and attend the 5th Serb Rally in FR of Germany due to take place tomorrow. On June 9th the RS President will take part in the session of the Steering Board for the Peace Implementation in Luxembourg.

The very last preparations for the introduction of the joint currency konvertibilna marka are in progress. It is announced that it will start circulating from June 15th. Prior to the introduction of the new currency it is necessary to liquidate the former Narodna Banka of BiH, was one of the main discussions at today’s meeting of the RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik with the Director of the BiH Central Bank Peter Nicholl.

The RS Prime Minister hosted today in Banja Luka the State Secretary of the Bundestag and the German Federal Parliament representative Mr. P. Kurt Wurtzbach. The concrete economic projects and the ways for their funding and alike issues were discussed at the meeting. The Agreement on establishment of the Center for Economic and Regional Planning was signed and the Serb-German Stock Company established.

Robert Barry, the Head of the OSCE mission to BiH forwarded a decision which recognizes the mandates of 20 Serb and 25 Muslim councilors for the Srebrenica Municipal Assembly. Three SDS councilors who were deprived of their mandates by this decision got them back.

The International Supervisor over the Brcko dispute R. Farrand confirmed at today’s press conference that there would be no evictions of Serb refugees who lived in Croat or Muslim houses. He explained that dismissal of Serb employees from the institutions of the municipal administration was not violation of the human rights since none of them would stop receiving his/her salary.

The 9th regular Banja Luka Town Assembly held today in Banski Dvor. The members of Croat and Muslim parties walked out of the session due to non-acceptance of their proposal on supplementing the agenda with the new discussion on the Town Statute.
