Continuance of the RS NA session is scheduled for Wednesday at 11:00. On the eve of the session consultations of the Heads of caucuses and party presidents will be held. “The past few days have been used for intensive consultations between political parties in order to reach constructive agreement on continuance of the session trying to harmonise all interests of parties involved. I believe that parties will do everything to reach certain agreement which would end this first session of the RS NA. The biggest problems emerged on constituting of the Assembly leadership which was linked with constituting of other institutions, the Government before all”.- Petar Djokic, RS NA Speaker said.

Robert Gelbard talked with Biljana Plavsic, Milorad Dodik and Zivko Radisic about the necessity of a constructive approach to the forming of executive and legislative authority. Gelbard said that the RS political parties need to reach agreement on forming the Assembly leadership. “I hope it will be a positive decision”.- Gelbard said. “Implementation of the Dayton Agreement is measured by actions not words”- Gelbard said, adding that it was no secret the U.S. believe Dodik achieved great progress and that positive changes have been made. Gelbard also said he had planned a meeting with the SDS President, Dragan Kalinic, for, as he said, “we have serious questions for the SDS due to their past”. Gelbard also met with the new RS President, Nikola Poplasen.

Head of Public security in the Serbian Ministry of Interior, Vlastimir Djordjevic and Head of the diplomatic missions in Kosovo signed an agreement which allows Serbian police to have checkpoints at 5 roads in Kosovo with a precise number of police officers.

“We have to experience certain transformations and we are heading in that direction in order to fit in with European standards and not to be wiped out from these areas.”- Biljana Plavsic said at a press conference in Banja Luka. “In a wider context, the derailment of Ostoja Knezevic, who certainly did not think broadly about these things but in self interest, is intolerant”.- Plavsic said.
