NATO Secretary General, Hague Tribunal officials and other international community officials have confirmed that a Serb, Stevan Todorovic, who is indicted for war crimes in Samac, was arrested last night. In the statement given by the Javier Solana it is not said where Todorovic was arrested or which troops conducted the arrest. According to Todorovic’s lawyer, Todorovic stated that he was arrested in his house in Zlatibor (FRY) by masked people, and then taken to the Drina river where he was transported by boat to Bosnia, where an SFOR helicopter was awaiting and took him to the Tuzla SFOR base, after which he was transported to the Hague.

The President of the SPRS, Zivko Radisic, stated that the RS and B&H were entering a new phase of political, parliamentary, economic and overall life, after new election results were published. He estimated that no one had the right to feel the winner, to spread fear, but had to accept the actual situation and new dramatic challenges. Radisic emphasised that there was no going back and that he would advocate full implementation of the election results. “My work will be based exclusively on the letter of the Dayton Peace Agreement.”- Radisic said.

The US Secretary of Defence stated in Sarajevo today that the US would co-operate with all democratically elected leaders in B&H who respected the DA not only with words but with deeds as well.

Regarding the demolition of the SNS and SNSD premises in Bijeljina, the SRS and Helsinki Human Rights Committee released a press statement. SRS has strongly refuted any kind of connection and involvement in the demolition of the SNS and SNSD premises in Bijeljina. Helsinki Committee condemned the demolition of the SNS and SNSD premises appraising it as the culmination of political violence which would endanger on-going democratic processes.
