The third session of the RS NA, at which the deputies absolved 17 items of the agenda, was completed in Banja Luka this evening. Law on amnesty, law on changes and amendments to the law on excise and tax on transactions were adopted. The assembly started today’s work discussing the current activities on formation of the new RS government. After a long discussion, in the course of which the deputies pointed out the fact that the 40-day deadline Kalinic had to form the government has passed, the NA deputies adopted the recommendation of 48 deputies which proposes to the RS President Nikola Poplasen to appoint the current Prime Minister Dodik prime minister designate. In the course of voting, as a sign of protest, the SDS and SRS deputies left the assembly hall.

Minister for refugees and DPs in the RS Government Miladin Dragicevic, according to Tanjug agency, submitted a resignation to the function, which was not accepted by PM Dodik. According to the same source, Dragicevic said that he would remain in function till the election of the new Government.

The full support to the DA was expressed today at the Radical Party of RS press conference. The President of the Radical Party of RS Miroslav Radovanovic expressed concerns because the post-Dayton conferences, according to him, erode Dayton. He stressed it was irritating that the Madrid Declaration insists on return of refugees and DPs, depriving people of the right to choose, given to them by Annex 7.
