Hanns Schumacher, Deputy HR, attended the continuation of the fourth session of the RS NA, held in Banja Luka yesterday. Major difficulties appeared during the adoption of the Law on Banking Agency, to which 33 amendments were made, and most of the objections came from the SDS and the SRS.

RS President Plavsic and PM Dodik met with the Swiss Minister for Justice and Police, Arnold Koller, in Banja Luka today. They discussed the possibilities of refugee returns to the RS.
Member of the BiH Presidency, Kresimir Zubak, spoke today in Sarajevo with Deputy HR, Hanns Schumacher, about resolving the problem of refugee and DP returns to Mostar. It was concluded that the returns should be organised in phases.

President of the BiH Presidency, Alija Izetbegovic, today rejected the arbitration decision of the HR, Carlos Westendorp, to divide key positions in the Srebrenica municipal authorities. In a letter addressed to the Head of OSCE Mission in BiH, Robert Barry, on March 12th, Izetbegovic demanded that Bosniaks have absolute authority in that municipality.

The RS Minister of Traffic and Communications, Marko Pavic confirmed today in Banja Luka that South Korea had approved a very favorable $20 million credit for the RS. The deadline for payment of this credit for development of telecommunications is 30 years, and it will be realised through the EBRD.
