According to the Banja Luka LEC, about 70% of voters in the municipality voted, regardless of the problems caused by the OSCE error concerning the voters’ lists. In the area of Prijedor about 82% of voters fulfilled their duty. In Novi Grad and Srpska Kostajnica local and general elections were held simultaneously.

The voters’ response in Doboj was about 78%, according to unofficial reports, and all the polling stations were closed at 16:00. In the majority of polling stations there were queues during the day, due to yesterday’s delay in delivery of voters’ lists.

All the polling stations were also closed for a time in Kotor Varos, where the voters’ response was about 76%.

About 61% of voters used their right to vote in Mrkonjic Grad, while 75% voted in Laktasi, according to the Governmental Commission for Monitoring and Supervision of Elections.

There were long queues in front of the polling stations in Srpsko Sarajevo today at 16:00 but all citizens were allowed to vote within an hour. According to unofficial information the voters’ response in this part of the RS was about 75%.

The counting of votes which arrived from all over the world started today in Lukavica, where the ballots will be separated into those for the RS and those for the Federation. Absentee ballots will be received during the week.

About 60% of voters used their right to vote in Bijeljina, while the total response in the area, including Brcko, was approximately 70%, although there were problems with incomplete voters’ lists.

Some of the polling stations in the south of the RS are still open, due to yesterday’s delay in delivery of voters’ lists, but the approximate voters’ response so far is about 70%.

There were no incidents reported from any of the polling stations. About 30% of BiH citizens voted in 73 polling stations in FRY, until noon.

The OSCE Spokesman, Paul Hockinos, stated that about 50 to 60% of voters voted up until 16:00 in the RS. The IPTF Spokesman, Alun Roberts, informed the press that about 80% of voters voted in Drvar and that five buses with Serb voters returned to Banja Luka.
