News Summary 45 students visit RT RS

Forty-five students from the Human Rights Institute ‘Ludwig Bolcman’ visited the RT RS office in Banja Luka and met with General Director Andjelko Kozomara, who familiarized them with the organization and work of the station. The students showed interest in media freedoms in BiH, the program orientation of RT RS and human rights in the state. Answering the students’ questions, Kozomara pointed out that RT RS has been reporting objectively on the economic and political situations in the state and region, although political pressure to do otherwise exists. According to Kozomara, RT RS will confirm its independent editorial policy during election campaigning in 2000. The objectivity of RT RS was confirmed by praise for the information reported during the difficult days of aggression on Yugoslavia. Over the next seven days, the students will be familiarized with the work of the House of Human Rights and Ombudsmen in BiH.
