Serb officials in BiH House of Representatives organize discussion on draft Permanent Election Law

Serb officials in the BiH House of Representatives organized discussion on the draft BiH Permanent Election law in Banja Luka. Deputy RS Prime Minister Ostoja Kremenovic stated that the text of the election law is a solid base, but does not take into account the complexity of BiH and the specific quality of the entities. “Some of the jurisdiction given to the entities by the Dayton Agreement are tainted, especially in the area of local autonomy” added Kremenovic. Judicial experts Pero Kunic, Jovo Rosic and Snjezana Savic stated that some provisions of the draft election law oppose the RS and BiH Constitutions.
