News Summary

SRS letter to Djokic

The SRS held a press conference in Banja Luka. The SRS Caucus in the RS National Assembly sent a letter to the Speaker of the RS National Assembly, Petar Djokic. The SRS Caucus suggests that the RS National Assembly rejects a decision of High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch imposing the Law on the BiH Border Service, SRS General Secretary Ognjen Tadic told the press conference. The imposition of this Law violates the interests of the RS and denies the opinion of RS representatives in the BiH Parliament House of Representatives. Tadic states that the SRS would not accept the imposition of the draft BiH permanent election law. The representatives of the people in BiH should give their contribution to the adoption of the draft BiH permanent election law, which will protect the democratic rights of all citizens and parties, Tadic said.
