News Summary

Dodik holds press conference

RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik held a press conference in Banja Luka where he spoke of the RS Government delegation visit to Japan during which they will try to secure a $ 42 million donation and technical equipment for TV production from the Japanese Government. Restructuring of the RS Government is not possible before the next elections because this would destabilize the current RS Government, Dodik said, adding that the RS Government decision to prohibit Nikola Poplasen from using the presidential offices has been realized. Poplasen agreed with Yugoslav officials to establish a payment system between the RS and Yugoslavia, which the RS Government is not interested in, Dodik said. The BiH Federation is creating secret lists of persons suspected of committing war crimes and these lists can imperil entity relations, considers Dodik. The RS and BiH Federation need to exchange all prisoners added Dodik. Alija Izetbegovic’s statement about evictions is out of proportion and the RS will implement its obligation from the Dayton Agreement, Dodik concluded.
