News Summary

I believe changes in Croatian policy will allow Bosniak representation in Parliament – Jahic

“The CD Coalition club of delegates in the BiH Federation House of Representatives sent a proposal of the BiH Council of Ministers Law to Parliamentary procedure” said SDA spokesperson Adnan Jahic. By this proposal, in accordance with the opinion of BiH Presidency Member Alija Izetbegovic, the Council of Ministers would be expanded to eight ministers, with the establishment of Finance and European Integration Ministries. Jahic believes that positive changes in the Croatian policy on BiH would constitutionally legitimize and allow for Bosniak representation in the Croatian Parliament, as all other minorities have.

Victory of Croatian opposition requires change of authority in Sarajevo – Republican Party

The Republican Party believes that a change of rule in Sarajevo is required to create friendly and correct relations with Croatia following the opposition victory in the Croatian elections. They warn that parity in the work of the BiH Presidency and Parliament is the only solution for BiH and its peoples.
