“Train and Equip” Programme was suspended. The head of the Programme, Perdue said that the programme was suspended. Namely, the programme was suspended because BiH Federation failed to fulfil some previously agreed obligations, by the scheduled time on June 1, above all the obligation of the flag. It is also unclear how the new insignia of the Federation Army are being used.

BiH Presidency President Izetbegovic addressed a telegram of condolences on yesterday’s train accident in Germany near Essen, in which more than 120 people died.

Inauguration Session of Inter-entity Cooperation Commission was held today at the OHR. The commission is chaired by HR Senior deputy Schumacher and is consisted of three members appointed by the Presidency, two members from the RS and two members from Federation, as well as one OHR representative.

OSCE Mission Chief, Barry made a public announcement, in which he said that PEC has established a new election rule. The new rule says that the PEC will accept establishment of a new party only in the case if a part of membership has left another party and established a new one. Barry also said that the form of presentation of property status, and that the matter of Croatian Peasants Party is being discussed.

Presidency member Zubak said for Zagreb daily “Vjesnik” that if Ante Jelavic would not accept our terms, we will establish our own party. Representatives of both HDZ options Jelavic and Zubak are supposed to meet with Croatian President Tudjman tomorrow.

Federation Parliament HoR held a session today. Plan and Programme of return to the Federation was adopted after yesterday’s several-hours discussion. The draft law on Refugees and Displaced Persons who are returnees to the Federation was also adopted.

After yesterday’s heavy shelling in Kosovo regions of Decani and Drenica, the situation in these areas is calm today. (TV announcer – About 20.000 people demonstrated today in Pristina) (BiH TV news reporter from Pristina) More than 80.000 people demonstrated today in Pristina appealing on NATO to intervene in Kosovo. UNHCR reported that there are 3.700 refugees from Kosovo in Albania.

Preparations for Pilot-Privatisation are supposed to be finished in June and July for enterprises previously chosen for this project. Federation Prime Minister Bicakcic discussed this subject with the World Bank representatives. Bicakcic expressed his dissatisfaction with proposed solutions for the Law on Privatisation.
