55 bodies were exhumed from two localities in Sarajevo – the “Lav” cemetery and the “Kosevo” stadium. OHR characterised exhumations at “Kosevo” as a mass grave exhumation. OHR spokesperson Stiglmeyer said that it is supposed that this was a mass grave in accordance within standards, while BiH Federation Missing Persons Committee President Masovic said that this is certainly not a mass grave, in accordance with the international standards. Masovic confirmed Stiglmeyer’s statement that the victims from “Kosevo” were transferred from “Kazani”, but also corrected Miss Stiglmeyer and said that the court did not order their transfer, since it was a criminal procedure against certain people who committed these murders. Masovic also said that in this entire situation, the OHR reacted very clumsily, supporting and tolerating misinformation that mass graves are being excavated in Sarajevo.
