BiH Federation Parliament House of People scheduled a session for December 1 1998, and will discuss election of Croat delegates for the state Parliament, upon requests from the High Representative and OSCE Acting mission head. OHR spokesperson Stiglmeyer said that the HR and OSCE Acting Mission head demanded that the FBiH Parliament HoP should elect five Croat members for the BiH HoP and in accordance with the principle four from the HDZ and one from the New Croat Initiative.

The US Embassy in Sarajevo opened their consular section for issuing visas for BiH citizens. The US Embassy will issue tourist visas for BiH citizens, US Ambassador to BiH Kauzlarich said. Answering journalists’ question regarding the recent Ambassador Sclar statements, Kauzlarich said that corruption is a problem of BiH and cannot be connected to a single person or a group.

Exhumations in Sarajevo continued today. According to OHR spokesperson Stiglmeyer, bodies of 27 persons were found in the “Kosevo” secondary stadium locality. Representatives of the RS Missing Persons Committee said that this was another mass grave, apart from the one discovered yesterday at the “Lav” cemetery, while BiH Federation MPC President Odobasic said that those were single graves, for the bodies were marked with numbers and that they were not buried over each other. The RS MPC representative Rosic said that bodies were allegedly moved from Kazani location where they were killed by paramilitary formations. OHR spokesperson Stiglmeyer said that OHR has information that bodies were buried from Kazani. Four more bodies were also exhumed from the “Lav” cemetery today, in addition to yesterday’s 10.

A press conference was held today in Banja Luka, where one of the participants, President of the Association of Croat refugees from Northwest Bosnia, Vjekoslav Tripalo said that there are specific names of 14.000 people who wish to return to Banja Luka area. Tripalo added that a large number of these people are Croat refugees from Banja Luka, who are currently residing in Croatia.
