BiH Federation HoP continued yesterday’s session and adopted the Law on Pension and Invalids Insurance. HoP also discussed the Criminal Law proposal.

Mediator for BiH Schwartz-Schilling held a press conference and said that he could divide municipalities and politicians in BiH in three groups. The first group are those who achieve true progress including those who are trying to implement what was signed, the second ones are those where there is a will but implementation must be checked, and the third group are those who are obstructing. Jablanica, Travnik, Kakanj and Prozor-Rama re in the first group, Derventa Mayor is in the second group and Canton 10 in the third. Schwartz-Schilling said that the degree of obstructions of Dayton in Canton 10 is comparable with radical leadership in East RS.

Governors of Zenica and Busovaca held a meeting, organized by UNHCR. The main purpose of the meeting is accomplishment of two-way returns. These returns include about 2000 persons, about 60% of Bosniak refugees from Busovaca and 40% of Croat refugees from Zenica. Two municipalities’ representatives agreed to sign the protocol on return of the people to these two towns.

BiH Press reported from “Reuters” that Milos and Dragan Gajic, father and son were murdered nearby Kalesija village last night, while wife and mother Vojinka is seriously injured. “Reuters” reported that the tragedy happened in Glavice in the separation zone between the two entities. BiH TV news reporter reported that this was a family tragedy and that no political elements were involved as shown in the results of investigation.

Tensions in Sanski Most municipality are growing stronger. Local authorities confirmed that there is absolutely no other exchange of territories, while OHR spokesman Bullivant said that the people must be told the real truth and that local authorities must have more understanding on this matter, and that the International Community will make efforts to end the case within the legal framework.

BiH Presidency President Izetbegovic’s cabinet made an announcement, which says that Izetbegovic, and his associates met with the HR Westendorp, and ambassadors of PIC member countries. One of the main subjects was implementation of the Sarajevo Declaration.

Governors of Herzegovina/Neretva canton, West Herzegovina and Herceg Bosna Cantons held a meeting with the main subject issuing of registration plates and vehicle registration documents. After the meeting, a letter was addressed to the HR, IPTF Commissioner, UN Secretary General Special Envoy, and the Contact Group. The letter says that there is no regulations in the Memorandum on Understanding that would indicate to the joint registration of vehicles, so called Annex 3 in which says that the cover of the document will carry inscription “Bosna i Hercegovina” in Latin and Cyrillic. It was also said that such article was signed by nobody from BiH Federation MUP, and even if it was, such signature would be opposite to the BiH Federation Constitution that says that official alphabet in BiH Federation is Latin.

Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that all conditions for proceeding of issuing the registration plates are fulfilled in Sarajevo Canton area. Federal MUP Minister deputy Zilic also signed all orders for payment of debts towards the “FERBA” Company which produces registration plates.
