Sarajevo – The Central news began with extracts from Bill Clinton’s speech which the 42nd American President gave in the National Theatre in Sarajevo, This visit to BiH and the speech will mark 1997 down in history, an anchor said. Follows a description and footage of Clinton’s movements through the town.

During his separate talks with all three sides in BiH, Clinton reproached Izetbegovic for the Bosniak’s attempt to dominate. He told Zubak that Mostar has to be united in a multi-ethnic town, and Herceg-Bosna institutions have to be extinguished; he criticised the Serb side for insufficient impulses in the establishing a joint state. He demanded faster refugee return and co-operation in the work of the central authorities. Follows a poetical and frank speech based on the knowledge of Bosnia, as well as its previous and new history, as it was said.

Footage of a public questionnaire on Clinton’s visit to Sarajevo on the streets of Sarajevo and Tuzla showed some really emotional men and women who thanked US President for the halting of the war in BiH, and for the US help and friendship. President and Madame Clinton, as well as former Senator Dole addressed American soldiers in Tuzla thanking them for accepting their mission. Clinton mentioned a lot of those things that had been achieved in Bosnia, as well as his meeting with young Sarajevans who expressed that the wish of the BiH people was for SFOR to remain here for the next 50 years. The addresses were joyful, humorous and accompanied by the friendly cheers of the thrilled American soldiers.

BiH is expecting another important and respected world diplomat. German Chancellor, Dr. Helmut Kohl the German Embassy in Sarajevo informed. During his first visit to Bosnia, Kohl will meet Presidency members at the Museum, as well as representatives of the religious communities in BiH.

A tenth session of the Federal Assembly’s HoP was held today. The work of the session focused on six urgent points on the Agenda. The Deputies, according to the Governments suggestion, accepted them without any discussion.
