Petritsch informs Izetbegovic on new set of property laws
BiH Presidency Member Alija Izetbegovic met with High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch in Sarajevo on Tuesday. Petritsch informed Izetbegovic of the ways the new set of property laws will be implemented and additional efforts the International Community is making to financially support the return of all refugees to their homes. The High Representative also informed Izetbegovic that RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik obliged himself to allow each refugee from the RS to return home. Izetbegovic welcomed such a plan as a great step towards the integration of BiH, especially in light of the fact that the IC will give additional financial support and that return will be two-way.

Israeli Government will be asked to give information on reasons for Dodik’s visit to this country – Silajdzic
BiH Council of Ministers Co-chairman Haris Silajdzic reacted to the recent visit of RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik to Israel. Silajdzic stated that, according to information the Council of Ministers possesses, a statement issued from Dodik’s cabinet that the visit was at the invitation of the Israeli Foreign Ministry was not accurate. Silajdzic stated that, if it is true that Dodik opened some RS center in Israel, such an act is against the BiH Constitution, because all such acts must first be approved by the BiH Parliament. The BiH Council of Ministers will ask for additional information on Dodik’s visit from the Israeli Government.

Ganz would not invest in BiH now
“I would not invest in BiH today if a was a foreign investor” President Clinton’s former Special Envoy for the Reconstruction of BiH Claud L. Ganz stated at a press conference in Sarajevo on Tuesday. “BiH needs to reform its legal, economic and currency circulation systems. If development of the country is not made a priority, social unrest must follow” Ganz explained as his reasons for avoiding investments in BiH. “The most important thing to enable economic development in BiH is to remove political obstacles and adopt laws that would allow a free market economy. If this is done, BiH has the potential to attract the foreign capital necessary for its development.”

IMC issues EROTEL temporary license
The IMC issued EROTEL a temporary license for a period of 180 days with additional instruction that EROTEL abandon all of the transmitters it currently controls, except the 11 they are authorized to use, in order to enable the functioning of BiH Federation TV. “When BiH Federation TV starts broadcasting, EROTEL is obliged to stop using all frequencies except those not specifically granted by this license” reads an IMC press release issued on Tuesday. The IMC warned EROTEL to bear in mind when broadcasting HRT programs that HRT has repeatedly violated the IMC Program Code.
