BiH Parliament Constitutional Commission determines that draft law on BiH State Border Service is constitutional – OHR
The OHR informed that the BiH House of Representatives Constitutional Commission determined that the draft law on the BiH State Border Service is, without a doubt, constitutional. The OHR reminded the BiH House of Representatives that New York Declaration regulations and principles of the State Border Service establishment are not open to revision or change, because they are based on the principles from those documents. The OHR asked the House to adopt the law at its next session in the form proposed by the BiH Presidency. (00:43)
European Council Parliamentary Assembly opens discussion on admittance of BiH
BiH representative to the European Council Almir Sahovic spoke of the session held by the European Council Parliamentary Commission for Political Issues in Paris. One of the issues discussed was BiH admittance to the Council. Sahovic announced that a European Council representative presented a report after visiting BiH, including suggestions for a declaration, by which the European Council Parliamentary Assembly should officially allow BiH to enter the Council. Sahovic asserted that BiH admittance has already become certain after presentation of this report. He added that the Assembly has not yet voted or declared itself on this report.

Petritsch meets with SDP BiH leadership for talks on refugee returns and Permanent Election Law
High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch met with an SDP BiH delegation led by party President Zlatko Lagumdzija in Sarajevo on Thursday for talks on refugee returns, legal reforms in BiH, the Election Law and the need to make BiH politicians accountable for their part in Dayton Agreement implementation.

OSCE election law favours SDA and HDZ BiH in Mostar – HSS
The Croat Peasant Party (HSS) addressed a letter to Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH Robert Barry, warning him that the rule that every party must nominate at least 25 candidates for municipal elections in Mostar favors the SDA and HDZ BiH. The HSS asserted that the SDA and HDZ BiH use obstruction as a means of keeping Mostar a divided town four years after the war.
