Belgrade – After Richard Holbrooke spent several hours talking with Milosevic on the political solution of Kosovo crisis, he left Milosevic’c office late afternoon through the side exit to travel to Brussels. He called the whole situation surrounding Kosovo “alarming”. It is expected that the NATO Council will, on the bases of the Holbrooke information, start discussion on the final Kosovo decision tonight at 21,00hrs. Around 22,00h Javier Solana will announce the NATO decision.

Brcko – The BiH correspondent from Orasje informs that Ambassador Robert Farrand will leave Brcko tonight.. The representatives of the humanitarian organisations have already left the town. The members of the British and American Embassy have been evacuated from Belgrade today. Strengthened movements of the American soldiers serving with SFOR have been noticed in Brcko The International Monitors have left Kosovo, where extraordinary tensions are visible. The FRY powers are concentrating around Pristina. In the NATO base Aviano in Italy, everything is ready for action, only a signal from Brussels is expected.

Sarajevo – Neither we nor the IC are satisfied with the implementation of the Sarajevo Conference decisions, Mirza Hajric, Sarajevo Declaration Implementation Council’s Steering Board, told a press conference today. He added that due to many problems, there should be more understanding for the Sarajevo Declaration issue. He also stressed that the Sarajevo authorities enabled returns without incidents.
