News Summary

Results of Leutar assassination investigation to be presented within 21 days – Zilic

UN Special Representative to BiH Jacques Klein announced that the names of persons involved in the assassination of Deputy BiH Federation Interior Minister Jozo Leutar would be made public soon. He added that the names of those who had obstructed the investigation would also be announced. BiH Federation Interior Minister Mehmed Zilic confirmed Klein’s statement, adding that the BiH Federation Interior Ministry is still working on the case and would probably be ready to make the facts public within 3 weeks. In the interest of the investigation, Minister Zilic declined to give any detailed information concerning names or the whereabouts of suspects until there is enough evidences for presentation to the public prosecutor.

High Representative should promptly establish Commission for Public Corporations – BiH Republicans

The BiH Republicans urge High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch to establish the Commission for Public Corporations in BiH as soon as possible. At a press conference in Sarajevo on Thursday, BiH Republicans President Stjepan Kljuic reiterated his objections to TV BiH programming policy and asked the High Representative to dismiss the TV BiH Management Board.
