Yugoslavia
Last night and today NATO intensified strikes on Yugoslavia. As Natasa Narancic reported from Belgrade, targets were the Headquarters of Yugoslav Army in Belgrade, the Ministry of Defense, the International Affairs Ministry, the building of the Serbian Government and the Interior affairs Department, the hotel Yugoslavia, an thermoelectric power station, the barracks in Kragujevac and the transmitter of TV Serbia.
The Chinese Embassy was hit, too. As NATO declared this happened by accident. About 30 people were in the Embassy. According to the OBN’s reporter, two people were killed. An extraordinary meeting of the Security Council was assembled. Representatives of China protested. Chinese Ambassador in UN Headquarters Quin Huasun said that NATO‘s attack on the Embassy of China was equal to a war crime. He asked NATO to stop air campaign in Yugoslavia to prevent humanitarian crises.
Famous Albanian politician Fehmi Agani was found dead.
Sweden ex-Prime Minister Carl Bildt and the Slovak International Affairs Minister were appointed as the UN envoys for the Balkans.
Special Russian Envoy Victor Chernomyrdin will visit Belgrade to transmit Milosevic the decisions from the Meeting of the G-8 countries Foreign Ministers made in Bonn.
Sarajevo/Banja Luka
Louise Arbour met high representatives of the Bosnian authority in Sarajevo and Banja Luka. She said that the work of the Hague Tribunal can not be stopped and the Tribunal came to Bosnia to face all accused for crimes with justice and to continue its work even if the Kosovo crises was in the center of world’s attention. She also said that she would ask SFOR for help in the case of the lack of methods to work it out.

AS OBN’s reporter Anes Alic reported from the ground, the taxi driver Zijad Tokaca was killed by twenty two years old Almedin Drkic from Sarajevo. Adnan Memic Kefa was killed in an local clash. Investigations are ongoing.
Tuzla
Prime Minister of the Canton Tuzla Hazim Vikalo, and Ministers Halid Kovac and Osman Sinanovic submitted their resignation. The new Prime Minister of the Canton Tuzla Bajazit Jasarevic was appointed.
