The RS and Federation police stopped oil smuggling from the “Brod” refinery in a joint action. A group of smugglers was arrested. They damaged entity budgets by DM 18 million, Suzana Vukcevic reported.

Mostar

The US Ambassador to the UN, Richard Holbrooke visited B&H. Mr. Holbrooke visited Mostar and Srebrenica today. “The elections on 11th November are of utter importance for all B&H peoples”, Mr. Holbrooke said in Mostar. Mr. Holbrooke also visited Bosniac returnees and US troops within SFOR in Srebrenica. The Ambassador supported construction of a memorial centre in Potocari for victims of the tragedy of Srebrenica. The US Ambassador to the UN, Richard Holbrooke met Alija Izetbegovic in Sarajevo this morning. They visited the war tunnel in Sarajevo, Amarildo Gutic reported.

The B&H Council of Ministers session took place today. The report on implementation of Annex 7 of the Dayton Peace Accords was adopted. The report contains analysis of all aspects of refugee return, as well as the role of supervisory and commissions. Sanjin Beciragic produced the report.
